Another Dr. Knizia classic reimagined in the Allplay form factor–Money is an auction game where your bid is an eligible reward!

Collect different types of currencies. With 200 or more per currency, you score the value of that currency. If under 200, score the value of that currency minus 100. Collect special sets for bonus points!

This edition adds silver as a currency to the game, adding a brand new set type.

Why We Love It

The Market Changes In A Flash

To win, you can’t stick to a plan. Pivot, find undervalued cards, and strike when the market is hot!

Consider Your Bid's Value

If you want the market’s cards, you might think to bid big. However, be careful of giving your opponents something too good!

Unique Set-Collection Scoring

If you have a strong position in a currency (a value of at least 200-300), you’ll score points equal to that value. With a moderate position (110-190), subtract 100 points for that currency. Finally, if you only have a a bill or two in one currency (less than 100), you won’t score them at all!

Strategy

Be Patient

If it's your first game, be careful bidding too high too early. It's likely that you'll understand how your table's playing the market after the first few turns.

Pick Your Battles

Try to notice what your opponents are going for. It's likely that they can't have a strong position in all of the currencies; bid accordingly.

Sometimes, Bidding Lowest Is The Best

If you have a good hand halfway through the game, it may be good to bid low amounts to maintain your position. You might get lucky as your opponents spend more!
