Two new card games to always have on you: Tiny, pocket-sized experiences that delight with their approachable depth, clever design, and satisfying components.
Tear this game to shreds to defeat monsters and find treasure!
Each player gets a sheet. Each around, a goal card is revealed for all players. For example, the goal might show two swords and a cyclops.
Start a 2-minute timer and start questing! To complete a quest, tear off the exact icons shown on the card (and no extras). Make sure that the icons are fully showing on your torn-off pieces—partials don’t count! You can tear off multiple instances of the active quest to score even more.
There are bonuses and curses on the back of your paper—make sure you check the back or hold your paper up to the light! The player with the most points after three rounds wins.
Gaming can feel serious sometimes. And, we get it. It can be fun to be competitive, to dive into complex systems and min-max agonizing decisions to squeeze out that game-changing extra point.
Tearable Quest challenges you to be a little un-serious. To act as a god-like entity that can tear reality to shreds while still caring about treasure. To rip up a game because it makes you feel like a kid again.
It's the kind of game you'll want to show anyone who comes into your game room.
Shuffle the monsters and deal out three facedown in the middle of the table. Flip the top monster face up. Then, choose a boss faceup.
Each round is two minutes. When it starts, let it rip! Tear as many pieces as you like, flipping the sheet over to see the bonus icons on the back.
Complete any quests? Hit any curses? Find treasure? Partial tears don't count!
The boss card stays the same throughout the game. Make sure to focus on it to get big points!
Treasure awaits:
Score your hand based on secretly chosen goals!
Players pass cards to craft hands around the different scoring conditions. These conditions were chosen by the players secretly at the start of the round—you’ll have to try and guess at what others are going for to score big!
Drafting with semi-perfect information makes for tense turns. Everyone's focused with each turn since you've got to track what's being picked!
This is secret from all other players
Flip over the leftmost facedown goal card.
After four repeated rounds, score!
Each card has two scoring rules that award points for specific letters or combinations
