Union Pacific Express

3-4 players

From its early roots in Council Bluffs and Omaha, the Union Pacific railroad grew west and ultimately connected the east coast to the west coast. In this expansion map, players focus on building from some of the Union Pacific’s main hubs: Chicago, Omaha, Kansas City, and Cheyenne and also from Bailey Yard in Nebraska, the largest railyard in the world.

Rust Belt Express

3-4 players

The beginning of Age of Steam is the original "Rust Belt" map; a true classic. Rust Belt Express is set in a smaller region of this map, with fewer rules, fewer turns, and all the tense decisions ramped up in a shorter play time. Rust Belt Express

Chicago Speakeasy

3-5 players

The Windy City. Speakeasies and bootleggers in the Roaring ‘20s. Your stomping grounds are the famous haunts of the likes of Al Capone and other Chicago gangsters. This ain’t gonna be easy. You will need to build the best underground network to deliver the ‘goods’ and ‘handle’ the Feds to come out on top.

This map is based on 1920s era Chicago speakeasies and the battle with agents from the Bureau of Prohibition to keep them running. Black cubes represent the Bureau agents and may only be delivered to the Bureau of Prohibition. Goods cannot be delivered to Cities containing black cubes. Bribes must be paid for delivering goods through Cities containing black cubes. The special action ‘Bump Off an Agent’ can be used to remove a black cube from the map.

Rush Belt 2112

3-6 players

The year is 2112. Everything has changed. Sea levels have risen. Some say a comet fell from the sky. Followed by tidal waves. Those that survived have built and sheltered in massive dome structures. Finally, the first signs of life above ground are reappearing. Your goal is to explore the abandoned Cities, collect resources, and bring them back to the domes.

This map is based in the near future in the heart of the USA. Domes start with demands for specific colors of cubes providing +1 income. When the demands are met, the domes become a colored City with +1 income for deliveries to the dome. Players must build out from Domes and explore the land afresh after the great disaster and bring back the high demand goods to succeed.

Everest

2-4 players

This expansion features a race of climbers to reach the summit of Everest and return to base camp first. Climbers have to deal with additional effort to climb the Death Zone and will use the oxygen and resupply special actions to gain an edge on the competitors.

Zimbabwe

3-4 players

The Zimbabwe expansion will test your ability to overcome difficult events related to the real-world financial crises that have affected the Zimbabwe railways. This is a very tough map where bad things happen.

Pacific Electric

3-6 Players

Players build a network out of Los Angeles into the surrounding Cities using Power Plants to increase the length of deliveries on their electric rail network. This map shares a common core with Age of Steam Kansas City Interurban and adds its own unique twists and geography. The Express action allows players to deliver through a City matching the good color. The Engineer action allows players to build on rough terrain hexes. The map size is small and promotes a lot of player interaction.
